How to Order
The Ar Ruthiane's unique hourglass support arms grasp bullet shaped motor housings, which rotate about its teardrop center (polished Chrome finish, metal blade shown $1,470). At 48" in diameter, the Ruthiane is Matthews' most substantial fan. Available with aluminum blades set into decorative guards. Matthews rotational fans circulate heating and air conditioning more efficiently than do traditional paddle fans.
Constructed of cast aluminum, heavy spun and stamped steel, equipped with either metal blades and decorative metal blade guards or solid ecologically harvested mahogany blades without blade guards.
Each unique motor mount and fan head knob is made of genuine marbleized bakelite.
Available finishes, polished chrome ($1,395 wood blades; $1,470 metal blades), brushed nickel ($1,495 wood blades; $1,570 metal blades), brushed or polished copper ($1,515 wood blades; $1,590 metal blades), bronze ($1,650 wood blades; $1,725 metal blades), black or white wood, or bronzette ($1,355 wood blades; $1,430 metal blades), brushed or polished brass, or black nickel ($1,600 wood blades; $1,675 metal blades).
May be mounted with 10,20,30,48, or 72” down rods and slant ceiling canopy, call for pricing.
The Ar Ruthiane can be customized to accommodate a light kit, call for details.
For ceiling heights of 7 Feet or higher the Ar Ruthiane can be upgraded from decorative cages to safety cages at for an additional charge.
The Ar Ruthiane is damp location rated with metal blades only. Damp location protective powder/clear coatings for chrome and brushed nickel finishes available for an additional charge. Damp location protective coatings for polished copper/brass, brushed copper/brass, black, white, or bronzette are no additional charge.
